Write nonfiction that reads like you wrote it.
Pumpkin Writer researches your topic, drafts in your voice, and fact-checks every chapter with real sources, then gets you KDP-ready.

Covers and interiors that look professionally made.
From how-to and parenting to workbooks and professional guides, Pumpkin Writer generates the cover, the interior, and the metadata KDP expects.

Research, voice, sources and formatting, all handled.
Your voice, on every page.
Voice profiles and de-AI humanization reshape rhythm, structure and word choice, so each chapter sounds human, and sounds like you.
- Build a reusable author voice profile
- De-AI humanization on every chapter
Confident-sounding isn’t the same as true.
Pumpkin Writerfact-checks every chapter against research and returns real endnotes with source links, not just a green checkmark. Claims that don’t hold up get flagged with reasoning you can read, and every correction lands as a diff you approve.
- Per-chapter fact-check reports with reasoning
- Real endnotes and linked sources in the finished book
Publish-ready, not almost-ready.
Print-ready interiors, AI covers, keywords, browse categories, a metadata checker and a royalty estimator, exported in the formats KDP wants. Pick a colored interior template tuned to your topic.

Frequently asked questions
What does one book credit include?
One book credit takes a single nonfiction book all the way through the guided build: research and outline, chapter drafting in your voice, fact-checking, editing, covers, and a KDP-ready export. Books run from 3 to 30 chapters (a typical book lands around 30,000 to 40,000 words), and you can redo steps within fair use as you refine it.
Do credits expire?
Yes. Book credits are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase and are used oldest-first. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
Is there a subscription?
No. You buy book credits one time, with no monthly fee. Nothing auto-renews.
Who owns the book I create?
You do. Under our Terms, you retain ownership of the books and material you create with the tool. Publish them anywhere you like, in your name.
Doesn't Amazon reject AI books? Do I have to disclose?
Amazon KDP accepts books that meet its content guidelines and asks you to disclose AI-generated content when you publish. Responsibility for the book stays with you as the author, which is exactly why the tool builds in fact-checking, review checkpoints, and a beta-reader pass: so the book you disclose is one you have actually reviewed and stand behind.
How should I answer Amazon's AI disclosure questions on AI-generated content?
When you publish, Amazon asks whether you used AI for text, images, or translations. Answer honestly. Disclosing AI use does not get a book rejected; only failing Amazon content guidelines does. For a book built with this tool: choose Yes, then for Texts pick "Entire work, with extensive editing" (you guide the outline, review every chapter, fact-check, and edit) and list the text tools you used, for example Claude AI and Google Gemini. For Images, if you generated cover or interior images, pick the option that matches how much you edited them, for example "Many AI-generated images, with minimal editing", and list the image tools you used, such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini. For Translations, choose None unless you used AI to translate. This disclosure is kept by Amazon for its records and is not shown to readers. The screenshot below shows a typical set of answers.

How do I answer Amazon's accessibility questions (eBook only)?
When you publish an eBook, Amazon asks about its accessibility features, mainly whether your informative images include alternative text (a short description a screen reader can read aloud). This tool adds alternative text to the images it places in your eBook: figures use their caption as the alt text, and covers, QR codes, and bonus graphics get descriptive alt text. As long as your figures have captions, you can select "All informative images include alternative text and/or extended description." If you added your own images without alt text, choose the option that honestly reflects that. These accessibility questions apply to eBooks only, not paperbacks.

How long does a book take?
Generation runs take hours, not weeks, but the pace is up to you. Most authors go from idea to an exported, KDP-ready book in a few days, depending on how much time they spend reviewing and refining. The guided build waits for you at each step.
Can I get a refund?
Book credits, including unused ones, are non-refundable. Full details are in our Refund Policy. Whatever happens with credits, the finished books you have already created stay in your account.
Is my writing used to train AI?
We never train AI models on your writing, and we never use your content for anything except creating and editing your book. The AI services that power the app receive your content only to do that work. They may hold temporary copies for technical reasons, such as delivering results and troubleshooting, and their published policies state these copies are automatically deleted after a limited time. You keep full ownership of everything you create. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
